Our Leadership

Francisco Gonzalez-Rodriguez

Francisco grew up in a family of entrepreneurs.  His parents had been self-employed since before he was born.  Over the years, they started a grocery store, a gas station, and a trucking business.  And that’s where you’d find Francisco working every weekend and every summer from the age of nine until he graduated from college.  This experience shaped his appreciation for the hard work it takes to build a business and the positive impact businessowners can have on their customers, employees, and communities.

Francisco brings more than 20 years of experience across operations, business development, strategy, and M&A.

He began his career working in a factory at Intel Corporation as a manufacturing supervisor, leading teams of technicians building microprocessors and flash memory chips.  Following seven very rewarding years, Francisco decided to further his education and left Intel to pursue an MBA full time.  After completing his degree, Francisco worked for two years as a management consultant at The Parthenon Group.  At Parthenon, where he was fortunate to work with clients across a broad range of industries including retail, insurance, landscaping, healthcare, beauty products, and manufacturing. Enjoying the intellectual challenge of determining how his clients’ businesses could grow, but wanting to get his hands dirty once again as an operator, Francisco decided to switch back into an operating role.  Francisco spent the following 15 years leading business development, strategy, and M&A at leading companies in Silicon Valley, such as Broadcom, Symantec, and Ellie Mae.

Francisco holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Charles Bonini Fellow.  He also holds a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
